Lynn graduated from the rigorous 3000+ hr Registered Massage Therapy program at Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences. She was first introduced to massage when she learned Shiatsu in 2018. Since embarking on the path to become a RMT, her current approach now weaves in a variety of techniques including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue, joint mobilization, Shiatsu, acupressure, active release, and Swedish relaxation techniques.
Lynn is led by genuine curiosity and enjoys treating a variety of body types and health conditions. Being an active person who loves to snowboard, dance, climb, hike, and practice yoga, she is backed by a sound body awareness and understanding of movement and recovery. She spent three winters massaging at backcountry lodge, Baldface, which included massaging pro and Olympic athletes, while gaining valuable experience in targeted sports recovery massage.
Above all, Lynn recognizes that everyone is unique and is able to adapt each massage to address your needs. Her slow, intuitive and thorough touch incorporates deep presence and listening, to tune into your body’s current needs and responses as they arise.
